DB Interiors creates beautiful spaces through architectural design, home staging, color consulting and training.  Our services extend from the initial consultation to renovation design services for homes and multi-residential buildings.

Concerned about the environment, or wondering why some rooms in your house are cold, why the shingles on your roof are curling?  We can help, we specialize in Green Building Science and Building Envelope Remediation for residential and commercial buildings.

We'll prepare construction drawings, apply for your building permits, recommend and select products and manage the job from conception to move in.  If you would like to act as your own project manager, no problem, we provide coaching to ensure a stress-free home renovation.

Debrah founded DB Interiors after a successful career in managing and marketing commercial trade show programs.  It was here that Debrah's love of design, color and project management abilities flourished.  After the birth of their son, Morgan starting her own interior design, color consulting and home staging business was the perfect solution.  When the opportunity of teaching presented itself, Debrah rose to the occasion and became a certified instructor for;

To continue building her business, Debrah convinced Rene to join her and consult on Building Envelope Projects.  As an Architectural Technologist and an expert in building envelope remediation and green building science applications for residential and commercial buildings it's an ideal 'fit'.

Rene  assists clients in solving construction and building design problems; from poor attic ventilation,  air quality and leakage concerns, deteriorated building elements to preparing architectural drawings, specifications, and project manuals. 

Rene is a member and Director for the Building Envelope Council Ottawa Region.  For 24 years he served as a Board Member for Construction Specifications Canada (Ottawa Chapter).  He has also authored and presented technical papers for:
